Octopizzo – BlackStar

BlackStar is a song about the difficult life growing up in Kibera, Africa’s largest slum. The artist Octopizzo’s family were so poor he pinned himself with 2nd Hand nappies, stole shoes and was bullied while attending school. He started writing rhymes and is now famous in Kenya, heard on the radio. The story chronicles his life from birth to recent fame.
